Rules
1 -No parties or events – Lighthouse Getaway is a peaceful, family-friendly space. Please enjoy it respectfully and keep noise to a minimum, especially during quiet hours.
2- No pets allowed.
3 -No illegal substances are allowed on the property. No smoking inside the cottage, you are welcome to smoke outside please dispose appropriately.
4- Only registered guests – The cottage is reserved for the number of guests on your reservation. No unregistered visitors or overnight guests are permitted without prior approval.
5- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM – Please be mindful of our quiet neighborhood, especially in the evenings and early mornings.
6- Firepit safety – Feel free to enjoy the firepit, but never leave a fire unattended. Please extinguish fully with water before heading inside or turning in for the night. There is a hose on the lower deck porch.
7- Toilets are for toilet paper only – Our plumbing is sensitive. Please do not flush wipes of any kind, even if they say “flushable.” Use the waste bin provided for anything other than regular toilet paper.
8- Sand can clog the plumbing and cause damage. Before coming inside the home from the beach, you're welcome to use the lower deck hose to rinse off sandy feet or sandy items :) Please do not rinse sandy items in the laundry sink. Before using the laundry facilities, please shake out any sandy towels or clothes outside.
9- Garbage and recycling – Please use the bins beside the driveway. Garbage goes in the black bin; recycling in the blue bin. If your stay includes Sunday night into Monday morning, kindly roll both garbage and recycling bins to the curb for Monday morning pickup.
10 - Please leave all used towels and linens on floor by washing machine prior to leaving.
11 - Please remember to lock the doors and windows each time you leave the cottage.
